HOW TO BUILD YOUR COMPUTER

This article will explain how to build your computer by your self. In order to build your own computer you have to purchase the parts required from the market place. The list given below are the parts required to build a computer with the latest configuration. It is recommended to build a P IV Core 2 duo computer which can be used for all most all purposes.

The following are the parts required.
Casing with Power supply with 400 - 450 watt
P IV Mother Board Intel Pentium IV core 2 duo
512 MB DDR2 RAM speed 667 MHz
Processor with Intel inside Intel core 2 duo 1.8 GHz
Hard Disk with 160 GB SATA

Procedure for building the computer
Follow the steps given below to assemble your own computer
Install the processor into your mother board.
Insert the mother board in to the casing.
Install the RAM into the mother board.
Install the hard disk. The power supply unit is already available in the casing.
Install floppy disk and CD Rom drive.
Install DVD writer or DVD combo. Be sure to connect cables accurately.
The information is given in the mother board manual.
Install power connectors as per instructions given in the manual.
close the casing and tighten the screws
ensure that power switch connectors and front panel LED are installed and connected
Put power on and start the computer.
Install software.
Start with installing the operating system. For example install the Windows XP.
